Amazon has officially launched its business activities in Turkey from Wednesday through ordering Amazon.com.tr.
The company will offer products from more than 1,000 local companies within 15 categories
“We are happy to be working with the Turkish consumer,” said Sam Nichols, director of Amazon. “We are looking to win the trust of our customers in Turkey and we are determined to develop their activities to provide the best customer service through increased product and delivery options.
Amazon, an e-commerce site founded on July 5, 1994, by Jeff Bezos and its headquartered in Seattle, Washington, is the world’s largest online retailer in terms of total sales and market value.
Earlier this month, Amazon’s market value exceeded 1 trillion US dollars, becoming the second company in the US market after Apple.
