Turkey Ranked 10th in the World With the Size of Gold Reserves

According to a report published by “Business Insider” website, that the precious metal, which has been used by many as a safe haven for thousands of years is now back to fashion again, as gold has become one of the most attractive investments recently and is currently in the forefront of global markets, especially as it is going through the current boom in uncertainty remained about the future direction of the global economy.

According to the recently released World Gold Council, an organization working to develop the gold market, aiming to stimulate and sustain global demand for gold, as of February this year, the United States topped the list of countries with the highest gold reserves with 8,133 tons, followed by Germany with 3,337 tons and Italy with 2,451 tons.

While Turkey ranked tenth in the world with the size of gold reserves, with a reserve of 564.8 tons in February, according to the World Gold Council. Turkey has been among the top 15 countries in the gold reserves for years.
